Mayo Clinic Alumni Association German Speaking Chapter holds 21st annual meeting
The Mayo Clinic Alumni Association German Speaking Chapter held its 21st annual meeting in June in Göttingen, Germany. The meetings were held in the Alte Mensa, a renovated lecture hall at Göttingen University. The meeting’s theme was “Application of Light in Medicine and Research.” Thirty participants, including 15 Mayo Clinic alumni, attended the meeting.

After the scientific program, chapter members went on a guided tour of the historic observatory of celebrated mathematician Carl Friedrich Gauss and tour of the documenta 14 art exhibit in Kassel — a contemporary art exhibit that occurs every five years in Kassel and is limited to 100 days of exhibition
