Mayo Clinic School of Medicine establishes Gold Humanism Honor Society chapter

Mayo Clinic School of Medicine established a Gold Humanism Honor Society chapter. Mayo joins the majority of American allopathic medical schools in having a Gold Humanism Honor Society chapter. Founded in 1988 by Arnold Gold, M.D., and his wife Sandra Gold, Ed.D., the prestigious national honor society recognizes students, residents and faculty who exemplify in their work with patients and health care colleagues the humanistic passion that motivated them to enter medicine.
