Wei Liu, Ph.D., receives John Laughlin Young Scientist Award from American Association of Physicists in Medicine
Wei Liu, Ph.D. (RADO ’13), Division of Medical Physics, Department of Radiation Oncology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, received the 2019 John Laughlin Young Scientist Award from the American Association of Physicists in Medicine for outstanding scientific achievement in medical physics.
Dr. Liu leads research in his division, focusing on optimizing proton beam therapy. He is an associate professor of radiation oncology in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
