Juan Crestanello, M.D., is chair, Department of Cardiovascular Surgery, Mayo Clinic in Rochester

Juan Crestanello, M.D. (TS ’04), is the new chair of the Department of Cardiovascular Surgery at Mayo Clinic in Rochester. He joined Mayo Clinic in 2017 and previously led the Division of Cardiac Surgery at The Ohio State University. Dr. Crestanello succeeds Joseph Dearani, M.D. (TS ’96), who served in the role of department chair since 2011.

Dr. Crestanello is a professor of surgery in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
