Jennifer Fang, M.D. (MED ’02, PDNE ’17, PDNPM ’17), Division of Neonatal Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, was recognized as a top provider for virtual care volumes in Emergent Neonatology in the Telehealth Innovation Forum leadership awards that honor achievements in advancing virtual care.

Mayo Clinic also was recognized for having the highest volume of virtual care sessions in both Teleisolation and Emergent Neonatology of any organization in the Health Hospitals and Health Systems division. The awards recognize providers who are transforming health care delivery models and highlight the vital role that virtual care plays in providing health care access to patients during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Telehealth Innovation Forum leadership awards are presented by Teladoc Health and recognize health systems and providers leading the way in virtual care transformation. The awards are based on internal analytic data, which includes metrics from more than 450 hospitals and health systems and 3,600 care locations from across Teladoc’s global client base. This base includes the United States, Brazil, Canada, Europe and Asia.

Dr. Fang is an assistant professor of pediatrics in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
