Y.S. Prakash, M.D., Ph.D., joins International Anesthesia Research Society Board of Trustees

Y.S. Prakash, M.D., Ph.D. (PHYS ’94, ANES ’96, I1 ’03, ANES ’06), Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Rochester and chair, Department of Physiology and Biomedical Engineering, joined the International Anesthesia Research Society (IARS) Board of Trustees.

A recognized investigator and an expert in lung biology, Dr. Prakash adds a unique perspective to the IARS Board, with a background that spans anesthesiology, physiology, and electrical and biomedical engineering.

Dr. Prakash is a professor of anesthesiology and physiology in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
