Henry Ting, M.D., to be chief health officer, Delta Air LInes

Henry Ting, M.D. (CV ’97), Department of Cardiovascular Diseases at Mayo Clinic in Florida, announced plans to depart from Mayo Clinic for a new role as the chief health officer for Delta Air Lines.

Over the last two years, Dr. Ting served as Mayo’s chief value officer and chair of Quality and Affordability. In that time, he helped create a strategy to be the most trusted health care organization and become the global authority for high-value care. Dr. Ting’s contributions have been many, including co-leading the COVID-19 Data Governors Taskforce, developing prediction models to forecast COVID-19 community cases and hospitalizations, and building the capabilities of Quality and Affordability to help Mayo Clinic meet the expectations of patients and staff and the 2030 vision.
