Annie Sadosty, M.D., named dean, Mayo Clinic School of Graduate Medical Education
Annie Sadosty, M.D. (EM ’99), Department of Emergency Medicine, was named dean of Mayo Clinic School of Graduate Medical Education. She has held leadership roles including department chair, Executive Operating Team member and regional vice president for Mayo Clinic Health System.
Dr. Sadosty, a professor of emergency medicine in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science, is a Mayo Clinic Distinguished Educator and member of the Mayo Clinic Teaching Hall of Fame. She has a decade of graduate medical education leadership experience, and she pioneered the mandatory emergency medicine clerkship for the Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine.
Dr. Sadosty succeeds Steven Rose, M.D. (MED ’81, I ’82, ANES ’84), who served in the role since 2012 and will transition out of the dean’s role during the second quarter of this year.
