Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine students elected to leadership posts in American Medical Women’s Association
Two Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine students from the Arizona campus have been elected to leadership positions in the American Medical Women’s Association (AMWA).
Jennifer Talbott (MED ’22) is National Student president-elect. She will be a fourth-year student next academic year on the Arizona campus and is currently pursuing an M.P.H. at Columbia.
Yeon Soo (Sara) Lee (MED ’24), was elected as a National Committee chair for Advocacy. She is a first-year student who will spend two years on the Arizona campus and then will go to Florida for her last two years.
AMWA is a 106-year-old organization dedicated to advancing women in medicine and improving women’s health.
