Konstantinos Lazaridis, M.D., is director, Mayo Clinic Center for Individualized Medicine
Konstantinos Lazaridis, M.D. (I ’96, GI ’00), Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, is now director of the Mayo Clinic Center for Individualized Medicine. Dr. Lazaridis will lead the center’s institutional strategy to implement new precision medicine diagnostics and therapies into patient care and establish Mayo Clinic as the global authority in individualized medicine for rare and common diseases. Since 2011, Dr. Lazaridis has been the Everett J. and Jane M. Hauck Associate Director and William O. Lund Jr. and Natalie C. Lund Program Director of Clinomics for the center. Dr. Lazaridis is a professor of medicine in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
Dr. Lazaridis succeeds Richard Weinshilboum, M.D. (PHAR ’72), chair, Division of Clinical Pharmacology.
