Kannan Ramar, M.B.B.S., M.D., receives Diamond Quality Fellow Lifetime Achievement Award from Mayo Clinic Quality Academy

Kannan Ramar, M.B.B.S., M.D. (THDC ’06), Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Rochester and Mayo Clinic’s chief safety officer, received the 2021 Diamond Quality Fellow Lifetime Achievement Award from Mayo Clinic’s Quality Academy. This award recognizes Dr. Ramar’s long-standing commitment to quality improvement. Dr. Ramar was nominated for incorporating quality and quality improvement into many aspects of his career as a clinician, researcher and educator.

Dr. Ramar is a professor of medicine in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
