Naveen Pereira, M.D., presents GPM and EPI Mid-Career Research Award and Lecture at American Heart Association Scientific Sessions

Naveen Pereira, M.D. (CV ’06), Division of Circulatory Failure at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, presented the 2021 GPM (Council on Genomic and Precision Medicine) and EPI (Council on Epidemiology and Prevention) Mid-Career Research Award and Lecture at the American Heart Association’s Scientific Sessions. The EPI and GPM Mid-Career Research Award and Lecture recognizes an outstanding scientist that has made a lasting impact in epidemiology and functional genomics and translational biology.

Dr. Pereira is a professor of medicine and associate professor of pharmacology in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
