Sharlene Gill, M.D., Is incoming president for the Canadian Association of Medical Oncologists.

Sharlene Gill, M.D. (HEMO ’03), a professor of medicine at the University of British Columbia and medical oncologist at BC Cancer in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Is incoming president for the Canadian Association of Medical Oncologists. Dr. Gill recently did a TEDx titled “How to Flip the Script on Cancer.” Her hope is that the talk will raise awareness about cancer screening and advocacy and shift the narrative around cancer that is intentional and empowering.
