Foteini Gounari, Ph.D. (IMM ’22), director, Mayo Clinic Arizona

Foteini Gounari, Ph.D. (IMM ’22), Department of Immunology, is now director for Research Education and Training at Mayo Clinic in Arizona. In this role, Dr. Gounari will oversee the strategic vision, direction and management of foundational research activities such as training grants, K-Series career development awards, independent NIH awards and K2R programs, which cover the transition from mentored K career development awards to independent awards. Dr. Gounari is a professor of immunology in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
