Sherif El Nashar, M.B., Ch.B., M.D. (CTSA ’07, OBG ’12, GYNP ’15), Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Mayo Clinic in Florida, has a project selected for advancement in the Mayo Clinic Robert D. and Patricia E. Kern Center for the Science of Health Care Delivery. His project is “Catheter-Acquired Urinary Tract Infection (CAUTI) Prediction and Risk Stratification for Patients Require Indwelling Catheterization at Mayo Clinic Enterprise.” The Kern Center for the Science of Health Care Delivery will provide project support and dedicated time from center staff, including scientists, analysts, project managers and clinical research coordinators. Most projects will be complete in 12 months. Dr. El Nashar is an associate professor of obstetrics and gynecology in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
