Alexander Ryu, M.D. (I ’20), Division of Hospital Internal Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, has a project selected for advancement in the Mayo Clinic Robert D. and Patricia E. Kern Center for the Science of Health Care Delivery. His project is “Multidimensional Accuracy-Bias Optimization for a Binary Prediction Machine-Learning Algorithm in Production.” The Kern Center for the Science of Health Care Delivery will provide project support and dedicated time from center staff, including scientists, analysts, project managers and clinical research coordinators. Most projects will be complete in 12 months. Dr. Ryu is an assistant professor of medicine in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
