The teams consist of researchers from Mayo Clinic and the University of Minnesota. Selected projects must be collaborative, and the projects must be ones that could not be pursued solely by either institution. Dr. Liu is a professor of biomedical informatics in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
