Adam Milam, M.D., Ph.D. (ANES ’21), Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Arizona, received a Mayo Clinic 2023 Outstanding Emerging Educator Award. The Outstanding Emerging Educator Award recognizes faculty members who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, innovation and commitment to biomedical education early in their careers. The award recognizes physicians, scientists and allied health staff who have served in an education role for 10 years or less at Mayo Clinic. Dr. Milam is an associate professor of anesthesiology in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
