LaPrincess Brewer, M.D. (CV ’16), received project funding, Mayo Clinic Rochester

LaPrincess Brewer, M.D. (CV ’16), Division of Preventive Cardiology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, received project funding from the Mayo Clinic Center for Clinical and Translational Science Office of Digital Innovation, in collaboration with the Office of Translation to Practice for “Optimization of the Fostering African American Improvement in Total Health (FAITH!) App for Dissemination: A Culturally Tailored Mobile Health Intervention to Promote Cardiovascular Health Among African Americans.” The mission of the Office of Digital Innovation is to foster translational research in the digital space and ensure that issues of health equity are fully considered in the translation of novel digital technologies from discovery to application. Dr. Brewer is an associate professor of medicine in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
