Vinay Chandrasekhara, M.D. (GI ’17), received an award, Mayo Clinic Rochester

Vinay Chandrasekhara, M.D. (GI ’17), Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, received a 2024 CCaTS-CBD Pilot Awards for Team Science from the Mayo Clinic Center for Clinical and Translational Science (CCaTS) and the Center for Biomedical Discovery (CBD) for the project “Development of a Large Animal Model of Perihilar Cholangiocarcinoma for Testing of Oncolytic Viruses.” The goal of the awards is to enhance team science and develop clinical-basic partnerships in projects that have potential to impact clinical practice at Mayo Clinic. Dr. Chandrasekhara is a professor of medicine in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
