Joseph Dearani, M.D. (TS ’96), Department of Cardiovascular Surgery at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, received a Mayo Clinic Office of Translation to Practice Innovation Accelerator Award for the project “Mechanical Percutaneous Septal Myectomy Device.” Dr. Dearani is the Sheikh Zayed Professor of Cardiovascular Diseases Honoring George M. Gura, M.D., and a professor of surgery in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
