Andrew Haak, Ph.D. (PHYS ’16), Department of Physiology and Biomedical Engineering at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, received a Mayo Clinic Office of Translation to Practice Innovation Accelerator Award for the project “Optimization of Fibroblast-Selective Inhibitors of YAP/TAZ as Novel Therapeutics for Pulmonary Fibrosis.” Dr. Haak is an assistant professor of physiology and pharmacology in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
