Andrea Mariani, M.D. (GYNO ’05), chair, Division of Gynecologic Surgery, Mayo Clinic in Rochester, received project funding from the Mayo Clinic Center for Clinical and Translational Science Office of Digital Innovation, in collaboration with the Office of Translation to Practice for “Validation of an Artificial Intelligence-Based Model to Detect Endometrial Cancer (EC) With Transvaginal Ultrasound in Patients with Post-Menopausal Bleeding (PMB).” The mission of the Office of Digital Innovation is to foster translational research in the digital space and ensure that issues of health equity are fully considered in the translation of novel digital technologies from discovery to application. Dr. Mariani is a professor of obstetrics and gynecology in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
