Braydon Bak, M.B., B.Ch., B.A.O. (I ’22, ANES ’25), received a prestigious award, Mayo Clinic Rochester

Braydon Bak, M.B., B.Ch., B.A.O. (I ’22, ANES ’25), a resident in the Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, received the Robert J. Filberg Vancouver Foundation Fellowship for the 2024 academic year. This fellowship is a prestigious award given every other year to a Canadian resident or fellow enrolled in a Mayo Clinic School of Graduate Medical Education program. The award recipient must fulfill the following criteria: country of birth and citizen of Canada, completed at least two years Mayo training, and must exemplify outstanding clinical performance, humanitarian work, and scholarly activity. This award was established in 1978 by the Vancouver Foundation through a gift contributed by Robert J. Filberg, a Canadian citizen and longtime Mayo patient.
