Sean Dowdy, M.D. (OBG ’01, GYNO ’04), leading a Mayo Clinic team in a three-year program, Mayo Clinic Rochester

Sean Dowdy, M.D. (OBG ’01, GYNO ’04), Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, will help to lead a Mayo Clinic team that will participate in a three-year program of the American Heart Association to promote Lp(a) national awareness. The Lp(a) Discovery Project will foster education and Lp(a) screening strategies. Dr. Dowdy is the transformation officer for the program. Dr. Dowdy is the Mayo Clinic chief value officer and the Robert D. and Patricia E. Kern Associate Dean for Practice Transformation and a professor of medicine in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
