Aaron Mangold, M.D. (TY ’12, DERM ’15), received grant, Mayo Clinic Arizona

Aaron Mangold, M.D. (TY ’12, DERM ’15), Department of Dermatology at Mayo Clinic in Arizona, received a $100,000 grant from the Flinn Foundation’s Seed Grants to Promote Translational Research Program. This funding will support Dr. Mangold and his team in developing a gene expression assay using RNA and DNA sequencing. This will allow for more accurate identification of unique genes that drive cancer metastasis and outcomes. Dr. Mangold is medical director of the Clinical Trials Office at Mayo Clinic in Arizona and an associate professor of dermatology in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
