Nelly Tan, M.D.

Nelly Tan, M.D. (RD ’20), will be the new chair of the Mayo Quality Fellows Program, effective Aug. 14. In this role, Dr. Tan will partner closely with R. Ross Reichard, M.D. (APTH ’11), chair of the Quality Academy Education Committee, and the rest of the Quality Academy leadership team to oversee policy development, improvement and implementation specific to the certification program. She succeeds Sunanda Kane, M.D. (GI ’07), who transitioned from the role to become Mayo’s chief patient experience officer.
