Mitesh Borad, M.D.

Mitesh Borad, M.D. (HEMO ’08), has been named the Getz Family Research Professor of Mayo Clinic Ariona. Dr. Borad is a consultant within the Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology, with a joint appointment in the Department of Molecular Medicine. As a specialist in medical oncology, drug development and genomics, Dr. Borad has been extensively involved in developing novel cancer therapeutic platforms that leverage genomic medicine and gene/virus therapies, with a focus on tumors of the liver, bile ducts and pancreas. Dr. Borad succeeds Lisa Rimsza, M.D. (HEMP ’15).
