Stephen Riederer, Ph.D.

Stephen Riederer, Ph.D. (R-D ’88), is the George M. Eisenberg Professor I. Dr. Riederer is a consultant in the Department of Radiology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester. He has a joint appointment in the Department of Physiology and Biomedical Engineering. His research involves the technical development of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). This includes use of the underlying MRI physics, development of new imaging techniques, and implementation of MRI that addresses clinically important problems. He succeeds Steven Younkin, M.D., Ph.D. (PHAR ’95).
