Karthik Ghosh, M.D.

Karthik Ghosh, M.D. (CLRSH ’04), has been appointed vice president of Mayo Clinic Health System (MCHS) Minnesota. As the MCHS Minnesota vice president, Dr. Ghosh, along with her administrative and nursing leader partners, will be responsible for oversight of the teams and overall performance of practice, research and education within MCHS Minnesota. Dr. Ghosh joined Mayo Clinic in 2001 as a consultant in the Division of General Internal Medicine in Rochester and has served as the chair of this division since 2018. Holding a master’s degree in clinical research and a professorship at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science, Dr. Ghosh brings a wealth of experience and expertise to this new leadership role. She will transition from her General Internal Medicine role when that department’s new chair is named in early 2025.
