William Sanchez, M.D.

William Sanchez, M.D. (I ’02, CMR ’03, TRANM ’04, GI ’07), has been named chair of the Midwest Outpatient Practice Subcommittee (MW-OPS), effective Monday, Feb. 10. As chair of MW-OPS, Dr. Sanchez will partner with Jennifer Walter, associate administrator for Medical Specialties and the Outpatient Practice in Rochester, and Jason Fratzke, Ph.D., vice chair of Nursing for the Outpatient Practice in Rochester, to convene multidisciplinary teams and leaders across departments to lead the outpatient practice in Rochester and support the outpatient practice in the Midwest. Dr. Sanchez succeeds James Watson, M.D. (N ’03, NEMG ’04, PAIN ’05), who is rotating out of the role to transition into a vice chair role for Midwest CPC, along with other leadership roles for Mayo Clinic.
