Nilüfer Ertekin-Taner, M.D., Ph.D.

Nilüfer Ertekin-Taner, M.D., Ph.D. (NSCI ’03, I1 ’04, N ’07, NBN ’08), has received a named professorship from Mayo Clinic’s Named Professorship Committee. Dr. Ertekin-Taner is now the Roy E. & Merle Meyer Professor of Neuroscience. She is also a consultant in the Department of Neurology at Mayo Clinic in Florida, enterprise chair of the Department of Neuroscience, and a professor of neuroscience and neurology at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science. Named professorships are the highest academic distinction for staff members at Mayo Clinic and represent the pinnacle of medical achievement and excellence for Mayo Clinic physicians and scientists.
