Allyson Palmer, M.D., Ph.D.

Allyson Palmer, M.D., Ph.D. (MDPHD ’18, CTSA ’18, I ’21, GERI ’22.), has been named the associate medical director for the Office of Non-Clinical Education Programs (ONCEP) at Mayo Clinic in Rochester. In this role, Dr. Palmer will also serve as the Program Director for the Clinical Research Internship Study Program (CRISP) in Rochester. She will partner closely with the ONCEP administrative leadership team to execute strategic priorities for non-clinical education programs across the Midwest region. Dr. Palmer is an assistant professor of medicine and a senior associate consultant in the Division of Hospital Internal Medicine. As associate medical director for ONCEP and Program Director for CRISP, Dr. Palmer will work to expand non-clinical education opportunities in the Midwest, building on successful program models from other Mayo Clinic sites. Her extensive experience in the Mayo Clinic research and clinical communities will be invaluable in identifying excellent mentors and developing programmatic experiences for students.
