Adam Guenzel, Ph.D., receives award from ACMG Foundation for Genetic and Genomic Medicine for publication
Adam Guenzel, Ph.D. (VGT ’14, CV ’15, CLBG ’19, LGG ’21), Division of Laboratory Genetics and Genomics at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, received the 2021 Richard King Trainee Award for his publication “The Critical Role of Psychosine in Screening, Diagnosis, and Monitoring of Krabbe Disease.” This annual award is given by the ACMG (American College of Medical Genetics and Genomics) Foundation for Genetic and Genomic Medicine to recognize the most outstanding research publication by a trainee in the ACMG journal, Genetics in Medicine, during the previous year.
