Ajit Goenka, M.D., receives 2021 Best of AJR Award, Nuclear Medicine section, for most influential article of year

Ajit Goenka, M.D. (RD ’15), Division of Nuclear Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, received a 2021 Best of AJR Award in the Nuclear Medicine section from the American Journal of Radiology for the most influential article of the year for the paper “Borderline Resectable and Locally Advanced Pancreas Cancer: FDG PET/MRI and CT Tumor Metrics for Assessment of Neoadjuvant Therapy Pathologic Response and Prediction of Survival.” His co-author is Mark Truty, M.D. (CI ’06, S ’09), Division of Hepatobiliary and Pancreas Surgery at Mayo Clinic in Rochester.

Dr. Goenka is an associate professor of radiology in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
