Alessia Buglioni, M.D. (CV ’16, PATH ’20), is a chief resident for the 2019-2020 academic year in the Mayo Clinic Anatomic and Clinical Pathology Residency Program in Rochester. She is a third-year resident with a focus on renal pathology. Dr. Buglioni is from Italy, where she received her medical degree and completed residency in geriatrics at the Universita Politecnica delle Marche. She worked in the Cardiorenal Laboratory at Mayo Clinic for three years as a postdoctoral fellow and as an acting research assistant professor focusing on cardiorenal physiology and pharmacology.
