Alyx Porter, M.D. (I1 ’04, N ’07, NONC ’08), Department of Neurology at Mayo Clinic in Arizona, was recognized as a Diversity Champion by the city of Scottsdale’s Community Celebrating Diversity at its annual Martin Luther King Jr. Community Dinner Celebration. The Diversity Champion exemplifies the philosophy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and enriches the community by inspiring others. Dr. Porter is an associate professor of neurology in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
