Amado Alejandro Baez, M.D. (EM ’05), served as a special adviser on medical security at the G20 Summit in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in November and December 2018. His work at the G20 included training and advising the presidential security teams and Argentine Federal Police.

Dr. Baez is an emergency medicine/trauma critical care medicine physician who was born and raised in the Dominican Republic. In the past two decades, his work has focused on austere/operational medicine and special events security.
