Amir Toussi, M.D. (S ’15, U ‘19) has returned to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where he completed medical school at the University of Pittsburgh. As an assistant professor in the Department of Urology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC), he participates in resident and medical student education and has a busy general urology practice with a focus on robotic surgery and urologic oncology. He continues to be involved in research, including a collaboration with Mayo Clinic on a prospective clinical trial to assess the role of intravesical gemcitabine at the time of nephroureterectomy.

They are both proud to take care of the local community that bleeds black and yellow (Steeler country). They treasure their time with their children, Luca and Leyla, and the family enjoys movie nights, vegan cooking, making gainz and snuggling.
