Amit A. Shah, M.D., named 2018 Outstanding Mid-Career Clinician Educator of the Year by American Geriatric Society

Amit A. Shah, M.D. (I ’14), associate dean of faculty affairs for Mayo Clinic School of Medicine — Arizona Campus, has been named as the 2018 Outstanding Mid-Career Clinician Educator of the Year by the American Geriatric Society at the group’s annual meeting in Mayo.

The award is given to a clinician faculty member who has made significant contributions to geriatrics education and training, and has supported the progress of geriatric education in health professions schools.

Dr. Shah is a consultant in the Division of Community Internal Medicine and an assistant professor of medicine in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
