Amy Williams, M.D., appointed to American Board of Internal Medicine Board of Directors

Amy Williams, M.D. (I ’87, NEPH ’89, NEPH ’90), chair of the Department of Medicine and a consultant in the Division of Nephrology and Hypertension at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, was appointed to the American Board of Internal Medicine’s Board of Directors.

Dr. Williams will participate in the Maintenance of Certification Program and collaborate across the medical community to set strategy, lead innovation in assessment methods and explore opportunities to enhance continuous professional learning.

Dr. Williams is a professor of medicine in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
