Antonio D’Assoro, M.D., Ph.D., receives Minnesota Cancer Center Partnership Award

Antonio D’Assoro, M.D., Ph.D.

Antonio D’Assoro, M.D., Ph.D. (BIOC ’06), Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, received a 2017 Minnesota Cancer Center Partnership Award from the Masonic Cancer Center, University of Minnesota and Mayo Clinic Cancer Center. His project is “Aurora-A Drives Progesterone Receptor-Dependent Emergence of Breast Cancer Stemness.”

Minnesota Cancer Centers Partnership Awards aim to enhance research and collaboration between the two cancer centers in Minnesota.

Dr. D’Assoro’s collaborator at the University of Minnesota Masonic Cancer Center is Carol Lange, Ph.D.
