Antonio D’Assoro, M.D., Ph.D., Mayo Clinic in Rochester

Antonio D’Assoro, M.D., Ph.D. (BIOC ’06), Division of Oncology Research, Mayo Clinic in Rochester, received a second year of funding for a collaborative breast cancer research project in the Mayo Clinic and Karolinska Institutet Collaborative Cancer Research Program for the project “Novel NOTCH3-Based Therapies to Inhibit the Growth and Immune Evasion Capacity of Triple Negative Breast Cancer.” His partner is Urban Lendahl, professor of genetics in the Department of Cell and Molecular Biology, Karolinska Institutet. Dr. D’Assoro is an assistant professor of biochemistry and molecular biology and associate professor of pharmacology in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
