Atta Behfar, M.D., Ph.D., is associate program director of Research, Cardiovascular Fellowship Program, Mayo Clinic in Rochester

Atta Behfar, M.D., Ph.D. (MDPH ’06, MPET ’06, I ’09, CI ’11, CV ’13, TXCV ’14), Division of Circulatory Failure, Department of Cardiovascular Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, is now associate program director of Research for the Cardiovascular Fellowship Program.

Dr. Behfar succeeds Shannon Dunlay, M.D. (CTSA ’10, CV ’12, TXCV ’13), who is stepping down from this role to focus on her new responsibilities as chair of the Division for Health Care Policy in the Kern Center for Health Care Delivery.

Dr. Behfar is an associate professor of medicine and assistant professor of pharmacology in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
