Barry Borlaug, M.D.

Barry Borlaug, M.D. (CV ’06), has received a named professorship from Mayo Clinic’s Named Professorship Committee. Dr. Borlaug is now the William J. and Sharon A. Schoen Professor of Cardiology. Dr. Borlaug is also a consultant in the Division of Circulatory Failure at Mayo Clinic in Minnesota and a professor of medicine at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science. Named professorships are the highest academic distinction for staff members at Mayo Clinic and represent the pinnacle of medical achievement and excellence for Mayo Clinic physicians and scientists.
