Benjamin Eidem, M.D., is incoming vice president, American Society of Echocardiography

Benjamin Eidem, M.D. (PDC ’97), Division of Pediatric Cardiology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, is the incoming vice president for the American Society of Echocardiography (ASE). He will assume the role in June of 2021, will become president-elect in June 2022, and will become ASE president in June 2023. Dr. Eidem directs the Pediatric and Fetal Echocardiography Laboratory in Mayo Clinic’s Division of Cardiovascular Ultrasound.

Dr. Eidem is a professor of medicine and pediatrics in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
