Benjamin Eidem, M.D. (PDC ’97), appointed president, Mayo Clinic Rochester

Benjamin Eidem, M.D. (PDC ’97), Department of Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, was appointed as president of the board of directors of the American Society of Echocardiography. ASE is the largest global organization for cardiovascular ultrasound professionals, enthusiasts and multidisciplinary partners. Dr. Eidem is only the second pediatric cardiologist to lead ASE since it was founded in 1975. Dr. Eidem is a professor of medicine and pediatrics in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
