Benjamin Kipp, Ph.D., is chair, Division of Laboratory Genetics and Genomics, Mayo Clinic in Rochester

Benjamin Kipp, Ph.D. (CMG ’11), Division of Anatomic Pathology in the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology, is now chair of the Division of Laboratory Genetics and Genomics at Mayo Clinic in Rochester. Dr. Kipp a joint appointment in the Department of Medical Genetics. He succeeds Curtis Hanson, M.D. (LABM ’93), who has served in the role of interim Laboratory Genetics and Genomics division chair since 2019.

Dr. Kipp is a professor of laboratory medicine and pathology in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
