Bernardo Mendes, M.D. (VASI ’18), received approval for study, Mayo Clinic Rochester

Bernardo Mendes, M.D. (VASI ’18), Division of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, received FDA approval on his Physician Sponsored Investigational Device Exemption protocol application for his study “Clinical Outcomes and Predictors of Major Adverse Events in Patients Treated for Juxtarenal, Pararenal and Thoracoabdominal Aortic Aneurysms with Physician-Modified Fenestrated and Branched Stent Grafts.” This is a sponsor-investigator study intended to evaluate devices for the treatment of complex aortic pathologies. Dr. Bernardo is an associate professor of surgery in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
