Brian Costello, M.D.

Brian Costello, M.D. (ADGM ’99, HEMO ’09), has been appointed medical director of Rochester Experience. In this role, Dr. Costello will lead efforts to create an unparalleled patient experience aligned with the enterprise Quality strategy. Dr. Costello is a consultant in the Division of Medical Oncology in Rochester and is a professor in both oncology and urology in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science. He succeeds David Nestler, M.D. (EM ’09), who was medical director for seven years. Dr. Costello will work closely with Tamara Buechler, M.D. (I ’08), vice medical director of Experience, Wendy R. Moore, nurse administrator, and Heidi Stehr, director, to lead the Rochester Experience initiatives.
